Is the carousel on the Riverfront? Is it closer to the RenCen or Cobo Hall? Is there free parking anywhere near there? We were lucky to find one free parking spot on the street near the boat docking place. Is the carousel in the same area as the fountains that the children play in near the river? It was very nice. I only heard about it recently and didn't know there was anything so beautiful there. Usually we go to Mexicantown or to Belle Isle or to the museums.
